@GreysonBarrios @athiestboi Could have said no and believing that no wouldn't be met with punishment are not the same thing. And homosexuality and being honest instead of living a lie can't be a sin. If your god is a loving one, he wouldn't make something people have no choice in a sin.

With regard to "Judeo Christian":
The 10 Commandments are Jewish.
The great stories of the Old Testament are Jewish.
The Jews developed the idea of subsidiarity as the alternative to tyranny and slavery.
The Jews established the cultural preconditions for the rise of universal literacy.
The fate of Israel at the hands of the Islamists is the fate of the West.
This rising tide of anti-semitism sickens me. Those of you engaging in it for your oh-so-moral reasons—you're despicable.
And remember, you proud "Christians" objecting in all your purity to the term:
Christ Himself was a Jew.

So much noise online regarding the term "judeo-Christian." Guys -- in academia it's simply the term that describes the combined corpus of Old and New Testaments. The Jewish heritage of the Hebrew scriptures combined with the New Testament. That's it. I know you want there to be some conspiracy but there isnt, that's the way we're using it. It has nothing to do with geo-politics or a one world order.

Atheists don't necessarily reject Jesus' moral teachings.
They reject the claims about who he was.
One can, for example, agree with the idea of "love your neighbor" without believing someone rose from the dead, just as one can admire the wisdom of the Buddha or Confucius without believing every religious claim associated with them.
So, the real question isn't "which teaching do you reject?" That's a loaded question.
The real question is "why should one believe Jesus was who Christianity says he was?"

I don't write on here daily trying to convince myself or anyone else that The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints is true. I'm not trying to coerce anyone. I just like testifying what I know to be true. I feel like my religion is the only one that makes complete sense.
