The label doesn't change the content. Whether you call it Jewish scripture or the Old Testament, the text still features a deity commanding genocide, codifying slavery, and demanding execution for minor offenses. Criticizing those actions is a critique of the text's morality, regardless of which religion claims it

@HQmindd The Old Testament is Jewish scripture first and foremost, so why do you attempt to paint Christianity in a bad light with Jewish scripture without mentioning that it's actually Jewish?

We can absolutely say it is bad, and we do. Morality is a product of human empathy, social cooperation, and the recognition that bodily autonomy is a fundamental right. Ironically, the Bible explicitly outlines instances where virgins are given to soldiers as spoils of war (Numbers 31:17-18) sooo secular morality actually holds a much higher, uncompromising standard on consent than ancient religious texts
