But when im at home...even if i want to be lazy I can just put a good chunk of meat in a slow cooker, make up a flavorful broth for it to marinade in then just toss that on or in whatever

They cant help themselves.
They don’t take into account that Japanese people don’t earn USD, and that these “full meals” are expensive for young people who live and work here. They can’t understand that money isn’t 1:1 between countries.

Japan has some of the cheapest food in the developed world and it's not even close so frankly I don't want advice from someone who can get a full meal out for like $5 USD and where absolutely everybody is eating out at restaurants constantly

@Im_SamB @Karai_Dan I mean in America alot of places are still 7.25 an hour. I'm not American but I do alot of construction gigs in such states and almost nowhere has a meal that cheap
There's an occasional really cheap Mexican joint though

@Karai_Dan Ya in Osaka min wage is like 1,100ish yen you can get lunch for alittle under at beef bowl chains or some local shops but I mean you’re almost spending a hour of work for a meal.
