@GrimmishPro @JonathanTurley Trump's EO was intended to force a USSC decision on this issue. Whether a Constitutional amendment is necessary, remains to be seen. If needed, then a Convention could be called to amend the Constitution, requiring approval of 34 states. 20 states have already done so.

@JonathanTurley This issue needs to be decided. If the decision goes against the Trump Adm's position, then the written opinion should reveal the paths available to fix the problems and protect our Republic. In general, such would include an effort to amend the constitution.

They can literally give her the same sentence, say it is her lack of contrition that justifies the sentence length and it'll be legally valid.
