In case you didn't know: Iran and Oman own the strait of Hormuz. The Strait of Hormuz is part of the territories of both Iran and Oman. Hormuz strait is about 21 nautical miles, so ships must pass through the 12 nautical mile territorial seas of Iran and Oman. That means the waterway is legally part of their sovereign territory. Other countries in the region or beyond have only navigation right, not OWNERSHIP. Under the UN conventions on the laws of the seas, straits used for international navigation enjoy transit passages or non- suspendable innocent passages. International law does not allow another state to seize or rule Hormuz strait. Iran and Oman physically control coasts and corresponds with mines, missiles, drones and fast boats however they fit right. Like Turkey's Bosporus strait or Suez or Panama and other strategic waterways, Iran has the right to receive a toll/fees for providing security and controlling environmental damages. Think of waterways like vehicle ways; it needs traffic light control systems and protocols, it needs police/guards and assistance, it needs radio control and services... These need money. Persian Gulf is the most polluted waters in the world due to oil spills and extreme water traffics ... Thousands of sea species have vanished as the result of oil spills in the region. Have you thought about who pays for all of these issues and services?

@klipc @Net_Arts Je slaat niet linksaf, een rotonde wordt gezien als rechtdoor vanwaar je alleen rechtsaf kan slaan. Dus alleen richting naar rechts. Naar links is aardig bedoeld, maar werkt vaak verwarrend.

Valt me op dat heel veel mensen richting naar links aangeven als ze een rotonde voor 3/4 nemen, maar dan géén richting naar rechts aangeven bij het verlaten van de rotonde. Het eerste mag maar is niet verplicht, het tweede is gewoon verplicht en bloedirritant als je het niet doet
