1) Many of Poilievre’s policies were not “sensible” nor “effective”
2) He shouldn’t be baffled. There are various reasons why Canadians had criticisms of Poilievre during the federal election campaign, like how he has mislabelled and insulted his political opponents, didn’t focus on Trump enough at the time, backed absurd policies like firing the Bank of Canada governor, and etc.
