I'm Y2KNW and this account started out as a way to share both my art and some questionable opinions on comics, anime, and gaming, and it has kinda drifted away from that. While I'm not gonna stop being the old man who yells at clouds, I'm going to try a bit of return to form.

@Ravaalek Neat idea, but I wanna see the energy in -> energy out comparison. For carbon capture, I like it because it can turn CO2 into a storable, transportable power reserve. As a replacement for traditional crude, it's a matter of costs and I doubt it would ever come close.

@CoryBMorgan if they hate oil , and lng so much, why don't they shut it off, stop wearing any clothes, shoes, whatever else made with oil? even medicines are made with oil.. Don't you wish, even for a week. we could stop the oil, so they could get a real taste of a life without oil?

While Nenshi tries to distance himself from his new boss Avi Lewis, let's not forget that Calgary's city hall have hundreds of thousands of dollars to an anti-oil group while Nenshi was mayor. Nenshi & Lewis are more ideology aligned than he likes to pretend.
