Managed to fight through legions of Arsenal fans to get to @RoyalAlbertHall to see @ladychatterley this evening. Absolute magic. It was a brilliant show and a real pleasure to be there. Even managed to get the last sensible train home. Result!

My dad took me to see Capricorn One when I was only 6, and three things burned into my brain: Jerry Goldsmith’s score, James Brolin eating a raw snake, and Elliot Gould in this manic, scramble to stop a car without brakes. Rewatched years later and appreciated the rest.

@TicketmasterCS what has happened here? Using Safari on an iPhone to try and purchase tickets, it would not allow me to enter any payment details. Just a faded box with a spinning ‘wait’ indicator that never updated.

I bought the 4K edition of the original 1982 TRON movie. The old DVD was always a bit fuzzy. Looks great now, finally we can see the detail. Love that movie, and I suspect it was an inspiration for me in writing games. One scene screamed Simulcra at me, which was Dominic's work.

@JonSpaceman @sainsburys Coming back on this. I think they’ve also forced a 1 gift card per shopping basket restriction. Again unannounced, and as far as I can tell not obvious in their t&cs. At least I’ve think that’s the case. The alternative is that they’ve managed to lose £50 of mine.

@sainsburys I have a delivery pass and just tried doing an order that was significantly more than the qualifying amount. If I used over a certain amount of vouchers to pay it tried to apply a £5 delivery charge, but free if I used less. Surely some mistake there?

@JonSpaceman @sainsburys Incidentally, as a side issue, I've also had people trying to phish as a result of this. Would suggest that for Sainsburys to put people in a position where they are in the dark, necessitating the enquiry is unacceptable.
