Did you know that the SAS and Delta Force helped train the FBI hostage rescue team? The Bureau's HRT was originally conceived during the late 1970s and was set up after then director William Webster witnessed a demonstration by Delta Force. The initial FBI HRT selection course was held in June 1982 and candidates were experienced SWAT team members and former military veterans. After receiving tactical SWAT instruction, each individual was assigned an expertise to research, such as explosives and door breaching tactics. Each operator also served as a liaison to one of the existing elite counterterrorism teams from around the world, including the SAS. As part of their liaison duties, the FBI men attended training exercises held by their assigned counterterrorism unit, who shared their experiences with them. Several FBI agents went to Hereford in the UK to train and gain knowledge from the SAS. After the HRT was fully certified, the small unit begam conducting full exchange programs and joint training with 22 SAS, the GSG9 and the US Navy's SEAL Team 6. Today, the team is prepared to deploy within four hours of notification to anywhere in the US in response to terrorist incidents, hostage situations, and major criminal threats. Although the HRT has been tasked with a variety of roles throughout the years, its highest priority has always been to react to a major terrorist incident, and to ensure the safe release of hostages.

Operationally, Epic Fury has been a success, but not without fault. Losses incurred by US & partner forces could have been minimized had the Trump Admin been more open to Ukrainian support; and the US Army more nimble in reforms. Here are the receipts to prove it. 🧵 ⬇️ 1/25

1. The GMLRS-Alternative Warhead is by definition not a cluster munition. 2. No evidence it has been deployed in Iran. 3. What is your source for the total tungsten weight in the warhead? 4. GMLRS-AW production is several thousand per year, not 16,000. 5. The warhead is not $200,000, the whole missile is only $164,000.

Lockheed Martin produce the M30AI cluster munition used so effectively in Iran. 180,000 pellets of #tungsten per warhead. That’s 50kg of tungsten. They currently produce 16,000 a year. That’s 800 tonnes of tungsten. Quadrupling production would increase demand by 2,400 tonnes of tungsten. Each warhead costs $200,000 At tungsten price of $300,000 per tonne, 50kg of tungsten is $15,000 - only 7.5% of the unit cost. This additional tungsten demand is units lost to the market. It is not recycled - unlike machine tools consumption where approximately 65% is recycled. This is going to break the tungsten market. APT last at $2,250 My new price target is $5,000. I own EQ Resources, $EQR and Tungsten West. $TUN.
Lockheed Martin@LockheedMartin

We have agreed to quadruple critical munitions production. As a result of President @realDonaldTrump's leadership, we began this work months ago with @SecWar Hegseth and Deputy Secretary Feinberg.

Laser counter-drone systems are not capable of area air defense folks, for the 1000th time! These are close in point defense systems for defending a highly localized area, like a base or group of facilities/part of a small town. Short-range systems capable of dealing with one threat at a time. MSM is bonkers about these things, they magically assign them all these capabilities they do not have.

BREAKING; "Silent Killer in the Persian Gulf: USS Georgia Lurks with 154 Tomahawks, Ready to Strike IRAN on Command" USS Georgia is operating discreetly in or near the Persian Gulf region (or transiting between the Mediterranean and Persian Gulf under U.S. Central Command/CENTCOM). This aligns with broader U.S. military positioning amid ongoing tensions with Iran, including stalled nuclear negotiations, Iranian missile developments, and regional deterrence signaling.

@cwebbonline In Oregon an Officer who "resigns" as a result of a investigation is reported to the Oregon State DPSST who determines the reason for the resignation. If misconduct is involved they withdrawl his certification as a Police Officer.

This is wild! Forty-one DUI arrests by Asa Pearl, Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper. All dismissed. Twenty-two drivers were sober or within the legal limit. Completely sober. The trooper “resigned”. No explanation. No accountability. No apology. His personnel file doesn’t even mention the cases. Police departments shouldn’t be in the business of shielding obviously corrupt officers. Fire them. Flag them. Make their record follow them so they can’t quietly move to the next department and start over.
