@Guffie90 @Twitter That could also be an unrelated bug in the iOS app that’s been around for a few days where deep links break if the app is backgrounded. So notifications only take you to the tweet if you’ve entirely killed the app. Engineering QA at Twitter clearly doing well in the Musk era.

If there is anybody at all left at SRE at @twitter can you please work out why Twitter has been half-broken in Australia and New Zealand for 8+ hours now… or at least update the status page? It’s network and route agnostic, and makes app and web basically unusable.

Been getting weird network issues when trying to push to git all day with odd socket disconnections. Discovered my IDPS system had taken a sudden dislike to it after an update, and (somewhat correctly) flagged it as data exfiltration and was suppressing it.

The @auspost contractor who delivers to my building has honestly been so good since the pandemic started. He reliably calls and wait for me to come down every day I have a package, regularly doing major overtime to deliver. Last night he delivered my package at 9pm.
