Seems to me if we are at the point where troubleshooting some production hardware issue or some customer’s unique broken system in the physical world can be done by ai, then plumbing and carpentry will also be obsolete. Am I missing something about the trades that make em immune

I hear a lot about how “the trades” are going to be high demand once AI consolidation is further along. It makes me wonder about more physical engineering like FAE, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering. All of these fields seem to require the same physical aspect
