GOA is proud to be fighting one of several ongoing legal battles to protect gun owners from tyrannical "assault weapons" bans. We hope that the Supreme Court will take up our case, FFLs of Illinois v. Pritzker, the next time we petition for certiorari.
GOF, @GunOwners, and @VCDL_ORG just filed an opposition brief in the Virginia Supreme Court, fighting Richmond’s attempt to consolidate all the AWB challenges. They want to pick the judge and the venue. We're not letting that happen.
🚨BREAKING🚨 VA AG @jonesjay filed a challenge to our legal victory against Virginia's "assault weapons" ban. Virginia's filing asks the VA Supreme Court to put an emergency stay on our temporary injunction. Our response? See you in court!

🚨BREAKING🚨 GOF, GOA, & Missouri's @AGAndrewBailey just sued Jackson County MO for its sweeping gun control ordinance stripping 18-to-20-year-olds of their right to keep and bear arms. The County enacted this ordinance "hoping for a court battle." Well, now they've got one.
🚨BREAKING🚨 GOA & @VCDL_ORG released a joint letter advising Virginia law enforcement not to enforce Universal Background Checks. Enforcing UBCs—against court order—could cost officers qualified immunity & make them personally liable in civil lawsuits.
🚨 UPDATE 🚨 TN Attorney General Skrmetti has filed a motion to appeal & block our victory in Hughes v. Lee—which made Tennessee into a true Constitutional Carry state.
🚨BREAKING🚨 GOF, @GunOwners, & @VCDL_ORG filed a Petition for Writ of Mandamus to the Virginia Supreme Court. The lower court’s refusal to reinstate our hearing effectively denies our request for a Temporary Restraining Order or Preliminary Injunction to protect VA gun owners.
