If the nation truly cares, there should be a nationwide strike. No one should go to work in any government department until the authorities start doing something about this situation. No one knows who could be next. All schools and government institutions, except hospitals and other essential emergency services, should stay closed. If the government cannot protect its citizens, why should people risk their lives to work for the nation? I am Ghanaian, and although we often joke and banter, this situation is very sad. I am deeply pained by it. I am human, and I can feel the pain and suffering of the people. It hurts me a lot. It is high time the government addressed this issue. What is happening? Why should citizens have to beg for protection? Nigerians are strong people. Despite everything they go through, they still try their best to remain hopeful and happy. My heart is broken 💔.
