A reminder of when the pompous formalities of World Cup draw were completely destroyed by Robin Williams - who stole the show back in 1993 when the USA last hosted the tournament.

Not a joke: The #ReformUK council in Warwickshire, run by Cllr Boy George Finch is blowing thousands of pounds of tax payer cash to remove imported polyester flags lovingly zip-tied to lampposts by village idiots. And wait for it, said village idiots can collect their tattered bunting from local #ReformUK cllrs after Christmas, when the lights have been taken down. Nothing says fiscal responsibility like a flag recycling scheme for the terminally dense.

Up and down the country, billionaires have been cruelly targeted by @TheGreenParty @ZackPolanski for simply being incredibly rich. This heartless abuse needs to stop, now. Here's how you can help our campaign, Billionaires In Need 🥺

*The most pathetic thing I've seen in parliament, ever* Dawn Butler MP says Sarah Pochin MP's iss racist Deputy Speaker tells her off and tells her to withdraw the remark Butler repeats, Pochin is racist Deputy Speaker tells her off again for calling another MP a racist Butler repeats what Pochin said and says that is a racist comment Deputy Speaker says its not the comment, but the fact that you called another MP racist Butler, "You're giving me deja vu. I appreciate in this house we have to be respectful and not call MPs what they actually are. The comment is a racist comment. It's strange I can't call her out for being a racist, having made a racist comment" Deputy Speaker, "Please, time and time again, please consider withdrawing the comment about a member of this house being a racist" Butler, "I don't want to be thrown out of parliament again. So I will withdraw the fact that I am referring to the member of parliament as a racist because of her racist comment" Deputy Speaker waffles on for a bit How tragic for our democracy that it is more important to be polite about an MP than to point out that the MP is a racist based on actual racist remarks from said MP

"weirdo” “ridiculous” - these are the playground taunts when you have no political arguments left to make. And just like playground bullies, they come from a place of fear. Because they can see us organising and they don’t know how to respond. join.greenparty.org.uk

This is a wonderful poem by the late, great Benjamin Zephaniah, and a well-deployed riposte to the stirring up of racial division of Robert Jenrick. Meeting hate and division with love and poetry. Nicely done.

As the son of Bangladeshi migrants, I know who I want on my side. On one hand, you’ve got Starmer singling us out as immigrants who need deporting. On the other, @ZackPolanski and @TheGreenParty embrace a multicultural society. I know who’s got my vote!

In the given board layout, it is not possible to construct a Hamiltonian path (a path that visits every square exactly once without crossing or moving diagonally). Reasoning: •The extra squares (one above and one below the 4th column) each have only one neighbor, making them degree-1 vertices in graph theory. These can only serve as the two endpoints of a Hamiltonian path. •Therefore, any valid path would need to start at the top extra square and end at the bottom extra square (or vice versa). •However, the central 3×4 rectangular grid would then need to admit a Hamiltonian path from the cell (row 1, column 4) to the cell (row 4, column 4). •On a bipartite grid graph, this is impossible: both these cells share the same parity, and thus no Hamiltonian path exists between them. Conclusion: A Hamiltonian path that covers all 14 squares does not exist with this exact configuration. The longest possible continuous path without revisiting squares will cover 13 squares, leaving either the top or bottom extra square unused.

Today @MuniraWilson and I have written to the Prime Minister, calling on him to ensure that reform of the SEND system has children at its heart. After years of Conservative neglect, the SEND system needs fundamental change. But change must be a step forwards not backwards. 🧵1/

British culture is the product of centuries of shared values — rule of law, free speech, individual liberty, Christian ethics, literature from Shakespeare to Orwell, the Magna Carta, parliamentary democracy, and national symbols like the monarchy, the Union Jack, Remembrance Day, and afternoon tea. It’s not just music or food. It’s a civilisational identity.
