Buses and cycles don’t mix well. Differing speeds and frequent bus stops mean that the same cyclist/bus driver might interact multiple times on a short stretch. Abrajah Rafiq was killed after being hit by a bus a couple of blocks away on this street in 2022.

@tony_eh @londondanish @babart3 Agree with Barbart here … if a simple tiny beep is seen as intimidation then pretty much everything else can be seen as intimidation in my book, unsure why there is abuse hurled your way though

@londondanish @babart3 Exactly, whilst some drivers may mean it as a polite beep, far too any of us have experienced as intimidation, quite often followed by a close/punishment pass. A certain so called driving instructor fails to grasp this simple fact and carries on advising it's ok to beep cyclists.

Lorry driver using their horn to intimidate and then the passenger winding down their window to shout out abuse. Not a great look for this company, will be sending them a link to this.

It’s cyclists like this which give us a bad reputation … why can we not accept the law authorities decision and move on zhis has been investigated and case is closed

Just had to thank a driver to allow me to get out of a very busy junction, it may not seem it but there are plenty of decent drivers about when it really counts
