@the_stle1 ? Writing wise, power has paralleled pochita to denji multiple times. Plot convenience wise, I don't think its a huge stretch that the blood devil (who was wandering around on her own for months before makima) would go to an area with a ton of zombies aka dead bodies aka blood

In cannon byakuya beat koga and saved muramasa which is his zanpakto now, this is a flashback in TYBW in anime too btw. Every zanpakto can change form, murmasa locks them into their strongest form and summons them.
