@3_xtc3 I bought a discrete TPM for my g15dk but there’s no option to enable the hardware TPM, does disabling FTPM automatically make my board use DTPM?

Don't buy my link unless your board is Gigabyte, just search for an ASUS/Asrock or whatever one. Plug it straight into the board. You then go in BIOS, disable “CPU fTPM” as this overwrites it, and restart. Go back into BIOS and it should be automatically recognised. DONE. Enjoy

For everyone that's updated their BIOS and still gets a "Firmware Update Required" error, you don't have to buy a new board/CPU. Explanation & fix below:

so, cheaters can play bo7 ranked but i cant because i have a 6 year old pc that wouldnt even support a bios firmware update even if i spent the money for a flash drive🥲 just to played ranked 🥲 @CallofDuty help a girl out or something please

@mads_049 @disconnect1444 @CallofDuty Look up what a TPM hardware module is, the TPM being not up to date (because your bios stopped receiving updates) can be fixed by plugging in a cheap physical device that provides new TPM functionality, it is supported by activision and probably the only option for a while
