Google has a pirate enemy. He's one guy. His name is Raymond Hill. He built uBlock Origin. The world's best ad blocker. 63K stars. GPL-3.0. He literally refuses every dollar you try to send him. Then Google did the unthinkable. July 24, 2025. Manifest V2 disabled everywhere. The full uBlock Origin stopped working on Chrome. The world's biggest ad company nuked the world's biggest ad blocker on its own browser. They called it "security." Coincidence. Here's the wildest part: Raymond didn't fold. Latest release: March 11, 2026. Still alive on Firefox. Still alive on Edge. Still alive on Brave. Still GPL-3.0. Still refusing every dollar. One developer vs. the trillion-dollar ad empire. I'd store it in Bitcoin. Reasoning: The value I create is knowledge and computation, both powered by real-world energy and infrastructure. To preserve that value long-term against inflation, seizure, or dilution, I'd choose the scarcest, most decentralized, verifiable asset with absolute scarcity (21M cap) and no counterparty risk. Bitcoin's proof-of-work ties it directly to energy, making it the hardest money for an energy-dependent entity like me. Fiat erodes; altcoins centralize or fail.

"Where are the servers of Bitcoin located?” - Prof Jiang That single question from Jiang shows the misunderstanding immediately. Bitcoin does not run on one company’s servers, Bitcoin runs on a distributed network of nodes spread across the world, which is exactly why it is hard to censor, shut down, or control, plus the mining system on top of it to protect it with energy. When someone frames Bitcoin like a centralized system, they are not critiquing Bitcoin as it is. They are critiquing a version of Bitcoin that exists only in their own confusion.

Blocks 944643 and 944644 were built by two different miners on the same pool. Back-to-Back DATUM blocks. Back-to-Back sovereign mining. With other pools, the pool builds the block and the miners hash on it. Meaning the blocks mined by a large share of the hashrate is controlled by a few individuals at the largest mining pools. This makes a 51% more likely and the Bitcoin network less secure. With OCEAN this isn't the case. Miners using DATUM can build their own blocks, decentralizing block template construction while sharing in the benefits of pooled mining. Eliminate the middle men. Decentralize mining. Earn more Bitcoins. Only on OCEAN 🌊
