I honestly have no idea how anyone can own 20 stocks and know them well enough to know what is actually going on. I get it if you are in the set it and forget it mode, wanting to protect your money. But if you are trying to grow at a meaningful rate, honestly, what are you doing?

$VIAV Gapping up nearly 30% pre-market. Been a zero-stress name in my PF.
Now up +70% since April 1st.
Look how clean it traded during the Feb-Mar chop and then. just took off when the pressure came off.

No one knows what happens next… and that’s the point. As the saying goes, from failed moves come the fast moves. Now it can either roll over hard in the next few days or start building from here… remains to be seen. In the meantime, all we can do is stay ready to position ourselves when the time is right. These are some of the names I’ve started building in or plan to over the next week or so: $FSLY $AKAM $MRVL $SNDK $DELL $TSEM $VIAV $PL $FLY $SOLS $Q $NBIS $AEHR $UCTT A few more on watch, but I like this basket to outperform if things stabilize from here. Still a largely news-driven tape, which makes going full-size tricky. The ripple effects and ramifications of this war could take months, maybe quarters, to trickle into the larger economy. IMO, I see no reason to chase every move in this environment. Patience pays!

EPS estimates have been soaring, but it is actually coming from only three areas: materials, energy, and tech.
Tech is simply amazing, as 2026 EPS estimates are up 11.3% YTD and up an incredible 15.1% for 2027.

I will guess wildly: 2/3 odds of more kinetics and 1/3 odds that one side, when at their pain point, actually caves. (Either Iran concedes on the key points, or Iran throws Trump a small bone, Trump declares victory and leaves.)
Either way, likely no deal for 2+ weeks.

A massive capex boom wherein the sellers recognize revenues and profits while the buyers capitalize the costs, will do that. Look at mid-1998 to mid-2000, when S&P 500 profits rose 30%. Then look at the next twelve months when order books collapsed.

I am starting a 5 day radiation therapy treatment at Mayo Monday to Friday. They believe that could help bring me some relief from the upper right chest pain I have been having for a couple months now. Couple lesions there we r going to "zap". To get mentally ready, I took this guy for a ride. I rolled on that throttle to get me to smile. God has a plan.
