If you have Allstate auto insurance consider switching If you are in an accident here’s what they’ll do that will make you furious: - Write a terrible estimate for 1/4 of the cost of repair, even after you have an estimate from a shop - Make you pay for your rental up front then reimburse you later (good luck with that) - Try to force you to go to their shop for repairs which will almost always cut corners for costs - Argue with the shop about necessary repairs - Tell the shop they don’t pay for certain things and to send you a bill for them 15 years dealing with insurance companies and I can tell you they are one of the worst out there

Guy with newer Audi: “cool just give me a call when it’s done, no rush” Guy with 2016 Ford Fusion 180k miles: “This better match and look perfect, also I don’t want any aftermarket parts… oh and can you have it done by Friday?”

Can anyone tell us exactly when everything in society just started a severe downward trend? Was there something we could have done differently?

One of the biggest pain points of buying an EV at a dealership today: “The sales rep knows less about the car than I do.” And get this – Negative reviews citing “knowledge issues” jumped 48% in Q2. Most EV shoppers are first-timers—but 70–90% walk in already well-researched. Expectations are sky-high. Bottom line: When tax credits fade and EVs get harder to move, this training gap could make or break a store’s EV profitability. – From Widewail’s Q2 2025 Voice of the Customer Report | See industry trends from over 2.7 million Google reviews posted during the first half of 2025 → carguymedia.com/4nfYKXE | @widewailers partner

Lots of talk about white collar jobs disappearing, or people in tech not being able to find work, etc. If this is you, the car business welcomes you with open arms

@GuyDealership Dealers should take note of how easy it is to sell a car to carvana If you’ve never tried it yourself and you own a dealership…. Do it once for fun It will open your eyes to what buyers really want

A huge red flag for car shoppers: Getting a generic offer from a dealer on a car they never even looked at. Shoppers notice. In fact, 42% of shoppers say they want a text or email with a personalized offer. That means: connecting the dots from the internet lead form to the follow-up. (It’s not rocket science) The problem? At the scale of a medium-to-large dealership, doing that manually just doesn’t work. Bottom line: The best-performing dealerships are equipping their internet managers with advanced marketing automation and intelligence tools/solutions. – Data via VinSolutions | See the 6 biggest red flags holding back your inventory marketing → carguymedia.com/41m2FK6 | @CoxAutomotive Partner
