Good effort Spectrum boys vs tough/skilled/disciplined/long Santa Margarita (CA) team. This is how u get better. Watch SM - they space/move the ball/take good shots/play solid on & off the ball D. No one's hunting pts/awards/cheating on D. No hero ball. This is a hoops team.

@Itsspelledgraig @cullenthecomic My interest picks up again in March. Before Christmas I’m still interested in seeing the new configurations and no teams are really out of it yet.

It’s so funny that the NBA took the in-season tournament idea from soccer, where in-season tournaments are insanely prestigious and highly cared about by fans and players and everyone is shocked that the same thing is happening now with the NBA one?

@cullenthecomic @Itsspelledgraig I’ve got nothing against it at all. If it works for players and fans, great. I also think the timing is wrong. For me, the lull in watching/caring, comes soon after Christmas. In Nov/Dec, I’m still really interested in seeing all the teams play.

@GuyMacPherson @Itsspelledgraig Yeah but you're seeing buy-in from the players now, which will bleed into future seasons for the fans imo. I think we're 2 years away from it being a huge part of the schedule for fans

@baynationhoops If I'm not mistaken, Elgin only graduated starter was Olson. So they return 4 starters. Plus hard to make judgements this early. Could be a blowout either way or close. Doesn't matter really.

We'll know right away as Elgin Park plays Spectrum 1st game at TBI. Dylan Homenuk vs Tyler Felt will be must see. Possibly the 2 best bigs in BC. Not sure how Elgin matches up with Justin Hinrichsen & J Helman though. Will know in a few weeks:)
