I like to use this plot to visualize the power of compounding interest. Here, you see the effect on a one-time $1,000 investment over 30 years. At a ~10% growth rate (the historical average of the stock market w/o inflation adjustment), that single $1,000 transforms into $17,500 without you ever adding another penny. The moral of the story for young investors: find a way to live on less than you make, invest the rest in the market and watch your dollars work for you. Time is a very powerful tool.

Day 14 of not buying a $5 coffee and instead buying $5 worth of $BTC $BTC has cratered since I started buying, starting to think there is an Inverse Energy Guy effect going on.

@GuyTalksEnergy A tale as old as time unfortunately. People love blasting tops. Still think any Bitcoin is good Bitcoin but you can increase the amount by double now to where we just were. People also need to evaluate who they are listening to on this app.

Unfortunate reality.. there are people who were buying $BTC at $126k who are now too afraid to buy at $63k investment psychology is a wild thing to think about.
