From Berlin to Barcelona by train. Today cross-country journeys mean several bookings and risks if you miss a connection. Let's change that. With one ticket and full passenger rights all along your journey. That‘s our new passenger package. link.europa.eu/HGxmpv

Something I’ve had to unlearn when arguing politics (on a level beyond corruption ofc) is using human/animal nature as an excuse for standards and convention. The whole point of existing is to learn and unlearn and grow. “That’s just how things are” can’t be an excuse.

I started building my personal library since the day I visited my oga @Benn_X1. For non-technical books, I learnt a trick from him to always carry one with me when going to work. As soon as I get on the train, I put my phone away and take out my book. This way, I read between 5 and 10 pages each day. I could have chosen just soft copies, but since the day I saw his library and had a feel of the books, it sparked my interest in hard copies. Moreover, reading hard copies is easier than soft copies.

When I see people exercise overconfidence in forecast of a product or landscape I smile knowing they are wrong, from AR/VR to Crypto, to declaring flat design dead and recently claiming TUI is the future. If you are grounded in observing how things pan out, you will never mistake emergence for dominance. Those extrapolations are always surface-level, because we are all working with the same limited data.

There’s a lot of noise around mobile frameworks right now everyone has a “best” option. So instead of another surface-level conversation, we’re structuring this one differently. This Saturday, we’re diving into “The Mobile Domain: Different Frameworks” with a clear, practical approach: We’ll be discussing: • Why developers choose specific frameworks (and why they stay) • Where each framework performs best and where it struggles • Real limitations and pain points most people don’t talk about • How these frameworks scale in real production environments • When a company should not choose a particular framework • And where everything is heading in the next 2 - 3 years We’ve also built in a live debate segment, so you’ll hear different perspectives challenge each other, not just isolated opinions. The goal is simple: give developers and teams clearer thinking when making real decisions about mobile app development. 📅 April 18th ⏰ 4:00 PM 📍 X Space (@HackersCode) Featuring: - @rhymezx_code (Senior Android Developer, CTO at AIEGS) - @H3ndrick_ (Senior Mobile Engineer, Snag) - @SamsonOluwapel5 (Senior iOS Developer) - @EmmanuelDav_K (Senior Android & Kotlin Multiplatform Developer) If you care about building solid mobile products, this will be worth your time. Feel free to join and share your perspective as well 👇 #MobileDevelopment #SoftwareEngineering #Android #iOS #Kotlin #Flutter #TechEvents

📚This is hands down my most important read in the last few years! If you’re a multi-potentialite and you have your hands full with unfinished projects, but you get bored easily and have 20 new ideas a day, you NEED to find this book and read it like your life depends on it.

If BAT had the intention to revamp the electricity sector positively, he wouldn’t spend $5 million on leaving the national grid for solarization. Common sense!!!

I knew they had an angle for all this publicity they were getting but never in my mind would I have thought it would be a swingers or polyamorous relationship app. They will struggle as this is not an app idea but a secret club idea.

🚫👁️Drinks on Saturday🇺🇸
Lithuania has a notable gender imbalance: roughly 89-90 men per 100 women overall, with even starker shortages of prime-age "good suitors" due to emigration, higher male mortality, and demographics. Women there often take direct initiative—no games, no endless texting, no chill. If they spot a quality guy (confident, stable, foreign), they pursue boldly: eye contact turns into approaches, numbers exchanged fast, dates locked in. It's refreshing or intense, depending on your vibe. Baltic beauty + straightforward energy = memorable scenes in Vilnius bars or Old Town strolls. Who’s coming with me?

I’m sorry, but when Christianity held institutional power, women were executed over superstition….sometimes even for something as trivial as owning a cat. People were imprisoned, tortured, or exiled simply for expressing beliefs that challenged church doctrine. Slavery, too, was defended and justified using biblical texts. You’re projecting Enlightenment values onto Christianity…values that historically emerged in tension with it, not from it.
Tolu Ayeni@TolulopeAyeni

People who argue that we should return to African traditions before the arrival of Christianity often overlook the fact that their current sense of morality has already been shaped by Christian influence. In doing so, they take for granted the extent of human wickedness, largely because they are unaware of what many societies were like before Christianity took root.

Some cultures are inferior and should be discontinued due to the societal destruction they bring. Culture shouldn’t be preserved just because it was practiced by your ancestors a century ago. It should be constantly assessed. Humans are the masters of cultures, not the other way round.
