El grupo criminal Los Ardillos ha llevado a cabo ataques mortales con drones contra las comunidades nahuas de Xicotlán, Tula y Acahuetlán, en el estado de Guerrero. Diversas publicaciones periodísticas han difundido videos de familias huyendo de la zona. Los Ardillos presuntamente son dirigidos por los hijos de Celso Ortega Rosas, alias “La Ardilla”, fundador de la organización. Los más conocidos son: - Jorge Iván Ortega Jiménez, alias “El Barco” - Celso Ortega Jiménez, alias “La Vela” - Antonio Ortega Jiménez, alias “La Parota” El gobierno mexicano estimó que 70 personas fueron obligadas a huir de las comunidades nahuas. Sin embargo, el Concejo Indígena y Popular de Guerrero - Emiliano Zapata (CIPOG-EZ) aseguró que entre 800 y 1,000 personas fueron desplazadas. Jesús Plácido Valerio, dirigente del CIPOG-EZ, acusó a soldados federales de proteger y coludirse con el grupo que está llevando a cabo los ataques con drones. Es importante señalar que Plácido Valerio tiene lazos familiares con una autodefensa (UPOEG) que también ha sido vinculada con actividades del crimen organizado. — The cartel group los Ardillos has been carrying out deadly drone attacks on the Nahua communities of Xicotlán, Tula and Acahuetlán, in the state of Guerrero. Multiple news outlets have published videos of families fleeing the area. The cartel group Los Ardillos are allegedly led by the sons of Celso Ortega Rosas, alias “La Ardilla”, the founder of the group. The most well known of these sons are: - Jorge Iván Ortega Jiménez, alias “El Barco” - Celso Ortega Jiménez, alias “La Vela” - Antonio Ortega Jiménez, alias “La Parota” The Mexican government has estimated that 70 people were forced to flee the Nahua communities after these attacks, however the People’s Indigenous Council of Guerrero (CIPOG-EZ) has alleged it was actually 800 - 1000 people. Jesús Plácido Valerio, the leader of CIPOG-EZ, has accused Mexican soldiers of protecting and colluding with Cartel los Ardillos as they carry out these drone attacks. It's important to note that Plácido Valerio has familial ties to an auto-defensa (UPOEG) with its own cartel associations.
