So I’m listening to @AngelsRadioKLAA #AngelsRecap with Trent Rush. And though I appreciate the constant enthusiasm & positivity.. the FIRST CALLER calls to address Arte Moreno’s “Winning isn’t a priority quote” — and how he wouldn’t ever never never want to work for “a boss” who doesn’t want to be the best in the business. Trent went as far AS TO DEFEND Arte saying “I think that quote is unfairly taken out of context far too often” — In which context are we supposed to take it? @TrentRushSports — because he CLEARLY doesn’t care about winning. Now whoever this “WES” guy is who is a guest host on the show today is saying “ARTE FOR SURE WANTS TO WIN” — give me a fuckin’ break. Losing in an embarrassing fashion is one thing — defending it? I don’t have the words to describe it. And before I’m “invited” to call in again — my number is blocked by 714-283-0830. Why don’t you all call in and ask about this? Ask what context we should be taking Arte’s “Winning isn’t a priority” quote.

@HalosAnonymous What are you talking about? They asked, doesn't mean it needs to answered. Should it be answered absolutely but Trent doesn't have to answer if he doesn't choose to.

On AM830, First fan called in — asking “How can Arte and Perry be happy with this?” Wasn’t answered. Second fan to call in complained about Kurt Suzuki. Trent answers.. “yeah if Kurt had a Mulligan I bet he would go back and pull Soriano a little sooner.” Nobody gets to ask what’s going on with the Front office, or Owner, apparently that’s just.. Off-Limits. Smh. Such a shame. Will we ever see change?

Patrick O’Neal is no longer with the Angels after 13 seasons but he hopes to stay on with the LA Kings. Both teams are now on ABTV. Patrick is one of the best in the business and I'm sure we will be seeing him on TV soon. thesportingtribune.com/2026/05/13/pat…

@AngelsTalk27 I think he’s playing hurt. About 2 weeks ago, he dove for a ball and was heavily favoring his shoulder. He hasn’t been the same at the plate since. And I’ve seen him favoring the shoulder on other dive attempts and slides since. Just an observation from a guy on Twitter.
