The weather was kind, the children were fantastic and everyone joined in with enthusiasm and smiles, thank you to all our parents for your support on the sidelines it was much appreciated, hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Our butterflies have emerged from their cocoons, which caused much excitement in nursery this morning. Not long now until they can fly away …. 🐛🦋 @HIAMrsRadwan

Today we set our six butterflies off onto their next adventure, fortunately for us one of them wanted to stay a little longer to eat the orange and so we got to see it’s long tongue and beautiful wing patterns up close. @HIAMrsRadwan

Something amazing grew in our classroom this week, and we had golden eggs and magic beans left in our curiosity case… we were all very curious

A fabulous activity with paper! , using a variety of equipment to fasten together or make holes, we introduced the children to staplers , paper clips , a hole punch and tape dispensers… it was tricky at first, and resilience was needed !

It’s been so lovely this week playing in our outdoor area with the sun shining … we have all had so much fun.

We have caterpillars in our classroom, because we are reading the story called ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ , we are going to watch them grow, spin a cocoons and emerge as a butterflies, have also been talking about healthy and unhealthy foods. @HIAMrsMartin @HIAMrsRadwan

Busy busy busy ..... our children are always engaged in their learning, they show such fascination and curiosity with each activity, vegetable printing was very popular after talking about foods that grow on the farm. @HIAMrsRadwan

World Book Day 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣4️⃣

Some wonderful observational art in nursery this morning, we spoke about the different parts of the daffodil, the petals, the stems and what colour they should be... @HIAMrsRadwan @HIAMrsMartin

We began the week making chocolate rice crispy cakes, and we ended with an Easter egg hunt outside …. The Easter bunny left colourful eggs for us to find and at the end of the morning they magically turned into chocolate lollipops for us to take home!

Here in Nursery we made our very own Kandinsky Art ! Very pleased with the outcome… it looks amazing! @HIAMrsMartin @HIAMrsRadwan @HIA_Arts
