Over the last couple of days, you’ve probably noticed a lot more people wearing masks or cloth face coverings in public spaces. Wondering how well these protect from #COVID19 and whether cloth masks make any difference? The big difference they make is for the people around you.

I was passed over for an opportunity I wanted & told I wasn’t qualified. Today I learned it went to a man w far less experience & fewer degrees. Later during a zoom meeting, I introduced an idea to no response. My male colleague repeated the same suggestion & men applauded. 1/

At this point, you’ve probably heard a ton about chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine and how they may be effective in treating COVID-19. I wanted to tell you about a different molecule that’s getting less attention but may have good potential – Remdesivir.

Food workers. Grocery clerks. Cashiers. Delivery drivers. Warehouse stockers. They were never “unskilled workers.” They were always essential. And it’s WAY past time they got the respect they deserve w/ a living wage, paid sick leave, guaranteed healthcare, hazard pay, & more.

Please share this widely, especially with any friend or acquaintance who thinks Trump and his minions are doing a fine job. This is the reality of intensive care units in America, before the coronavirus surge even hits hard. 1/
