After our walkthru yesterday, Joe Restuccia cleaned up the trash area outside 410 46th, that NYC's worst slumlord owner Johnathan Santana has ignored along with all other repairs for years. Here's the before & after. Thanks Joe!

HK45/46, NYPD, tenants, elected leaders, & members of CB4 gathered to determine emergency repair needs at 410 46th St Yesterday and finally get things done. We have a plan + a schedule. HPD decided to go on their own, but we'll be pressuring them to act ASAP & help our neighbors!

Today we have a meeting w/ City Agencies including HPD and NYPD at 410 W 46th to address much needed and long overdue emergency repairs. We'll report back on outcomes, timelines for repairs, etc.

Co-op owners at 430 W 46th St. have stolen Mathews Palmer Playground from children in HK with an unsafe worksite for 3 years! @NYCHousing allows numerous safety issues to continue! Safety? Doesn't appear to concern DOB! @bradhoylman @NYCSpeakerAdams @MarkLevineNYC @ebottcher

Repeatedly called attn to numerous safety hazards @ Mathews Palmer Playground worksite. DOB says it's not their jurisdiction!?? @NYC_Buildings is on notice! When this goes bad & someone gets hurt we'll hold you accountable. @bradhoylman @NYCSpeakerAdams @MarkLevineNYC @ebottcher

Yesterday, 4:32PM Commissioner Ulrich @NYC_Buildings tweeted: "Nothing is more important than keeping New Yorkers safe, and we will continue to use every tool at our disposal to protect the public." Not seeing this at our playground worksite in HK! @bradhoylman @NYCSpeakerAdams

According to @NYC_Buildings broken boards, rusty screws, broken fencing, sidewalk shed creating a harbor where homeless people defecate, smoke, shoot hard drugs, do not make an unsafe worksite in a children's playground! @bradhoylman @MarkLevineNYC @NYCSpeakerAdams @ebottcher

Incompetence at @NYCHousing under Adolfo Carrión. 2 tries & HPD cannot install a door! How can these people be allowed to oversee vast construction sites! Door was installed under emergency declaration to keep tenants safe. @bradhoylman @NYCSpeakerAdams @MarkLevineNYC @ebottcher

No specifics about actions Mark Levine had taken after he got on camera at press conference from @MarkLevineNYC staff, just platitudes. After a couple of tough emails back to them...? They apparently abandoned the people. Disgraceful "leadership" @bradhoylman @NYCSpeakerAdams

@NYCHousing commissioner Adolfo Carrión Jr., was "suprised" to learn his team installed a BUNKER door on an apt building! Will he follow up w/tenants to confirm work was done satisfactorily? We'll see. But I wouldn't hold your breath! @bradhoylman @ebottcher @NYCSpeakerAdams

We begged @NYCHousing asst comm Josh Cucciarro over & over & over again for details about emergency door install at apt building. He NEVER responded. This is what he installed. This door puts tenants in harms way! Disgrace! @bradhoylman @NYCSpeakerAdams @MarkLevineNYC @ebottcher
