@jan_1513 @malaysia_covid I experienced few times in Hospital Serdang, it's the same situation especially in the morning. The Govt should recognize the high demand from patients and should build more affordable hospitals

This is the ophtahalmologist clinic in HKL. A queue that is approximately 180 or so odd persons. Inside there isn’t even one seat. Horrendous and horrible beyond imagination. My first thought is how the hospital medical personal have to handle such an overwhelming overflow? 1

@CelcomDigi I’ve sent question to Whatsapp number and X message, but yet to receive any reply. Now, I’m asking here: “I just noticed that in the new CelcomDigi app, it seems that my data package has reduced significantly and there is no more itemised billing. Is this correct?”

Yesterday’s news: – The Transport Minister appointed a private company as a JPJ collection agent. This morning’s news: – JPJ warns that drivers will lose access to the RM1.99 subsidised RON95 if they don’t clear outstanding fines by Dec 31. So… feel free to settle your summonses through their newly appointed collection agent.

True to its name, the newly minted Parti Hati Rakyat Malaysia (Hati) is appealing to the government’s conscience. Hati president Chan Tse Yuen has called on the cabinet to issue a directive barring beef from being served at all official banquets, citing respect for the religious sensitivities of Hindus and Buddhists. In a statement posted on Facebook, the former MCA leader said that such a move would reflect a Malaysia that not only preaches tolerance but practises mutual understanding among all faiths. @jameschin110 The Govt’s rules is written there for officials to follow. If you disagree, bring that rules to the Parliment and debate. What are you trying to justify here? You can continue to stir unnecessary points, provoke here and there and start creating disharmony among people. Happy?

“So if they claim to be sensitive to everyone, then it’s only appropriate that beef shouldn’t be served at government events given a substantial number of up to 7% Malaysians profess the Hindu faith.” “There are sure to be Hindus attending government functions whether as civil servants or guests … If there’s a total ban on alcohol at government events, it’s then only appropriate to totally ban the serving of beef from government functions. “All this one-way street ruling boils down to the wielding of political power which they expect others to follow yet at the same time, they claim the imposition of Islamic rules and regulation will not affect the non-Muslims”. Taking the matter a step further, Chin opined that PMX has made a big mistake by reprimanding Tiong given “it would be better for him to keep quiet lest he has fallen into a trap set by PN (Perikatan Nasional). “After all, non-Muslims in Malaysia have been conditioned and know how to behave accordingly, thus there is no need to oppress them further) by reinforcing Islamic norms on them),” he asserted. “This is the sort of hypocrisy that makes people hate the Madani government because they often say one thing but do another … My position is simply that PMX should abstain from playing this game (of pandering to the right).” He also hit out at the Congress of Unions of Employees in the Public and Civil Services Malaysia (CUEPACS) for stating that Civil servants are not allowed to be involved in any activities or events that involved the serving of alcoholic beverage. “This itself smacks hypocrisy as you must as well shut down Wisma Putra since all staff are required to attend embassy functions which as far as I know, all embassy events of non-Muslim countries serve alcohol to the detriment of Malaysian civil servants.” focusmalaysia.my/james-chin-bee… #Malaysia #PoliticalIslam #AnwarIbrahim #RightWingExtremist

Fuck your "majority". Just say you want everyone to bow to your faith. My culture is not yours to police. It is within our right in the constitution to practice our way of life. It's pretty simple: if YOU don't like, stay away.
arifakib@arifakib1

@adzizi yes. but that's not Malaysian culture. sama macam ada Melayu makan babi dan minum arak, tapi itu bukan budaya org Melayu. itu budaya org Cina atau Iban. it is considered as budaya to a group when it's accepted and practised by the majority members of the group.

Malaysia My 2nd Home (MM2H).

#MalaysiaMADANI #RancakkanMADANI #MADANIbekerja

@jameschin110 Whatever lah… when they use Govt’s platform and bring in the government officials who are Muslims, then serve liquor.. thats total disrespect and so ignorance. Why not serving porks as well? Is that the strategy to normalise and diluting the Islamic principles since years ago?

Let me do a bit of truth-telling. UMNO/PAS are fully aware that the event was funded by the private sector. But that doesn’t matter—they will still exploit the issue to attack Tiong and the Ministry. Why? Wouldn’t that make them look foolish? Not in their playbook. You need to understand how UMNO/PAS think: for them, truth is irrelevant. The real purpose of this uproar is to further intimidate non-Muslims. Here’s the strategy: if they can target a non-Muslim minister from Sarawak for attending an event that was not funded by the government, they send a warning to all future non-Muslim organizers. The message is simple—any high-profile non-Muslim event, especially if alcohol is even served to non-Muslims, risks becoming a target. Remember their constant reassurance: “Islamic rules and regulations will not affect non-Muslims.” That is empty rhetoric. In practice, their goal is to normalize Islamic rules in all public events, regardless of the participants’ faith. Tiong himself may not back down, but he is not the main target. The real targets are non-Muslims across the country who may now think twice before planning an event and if alcohol will be available. This is how the KMI framework operates. By repeatedly enforcing Islamic norms in public spaces, they create a culture where even non-Muslims unconsciously comply without being told. Over time, these norms become the default for everyone. We are already seeing this happen in many public events. The tragic part is that non-Muslims, worn down by constant pressure, rarely speak up. They fear being branded “Islamophobic,” a label weaponized to silence dissent. But here’s the contradiction: if Islamic rules supposedly don’t affect non-Muslims, how do you justify attacking a privately funded event attended by a non-Muslim minister? The truth is, the KMI movement has already won half the battle. Non-Muslims have been so conditioned by this environment that many younger generations automatically believe they must behave like Muslims in public spaces. This is not tolerance—it is submission shaped by propaganda and fear. #NonMuslims #Malaysia #KMI #PoliticalIslam #Fear #Moon #PAS #UMNO #Islam
