This morning, @CityWestminster launched the next iteration of their Fairer Economy plan. Recognising the power of Westminster’s 19 BIDs, which generate £25m a year, @w9maidavale: “One of our priority areas is to ensure the West End remains a hub of economic growth” We look forward to the publication of the council’s upcoming Westminster After Dark plan, which supports the West End hashtag#EveningAndNightTimeEconomy. Stella Abani MBE also announced a new platform that aims to link businesses with charities, to streamline businesses’ CSR programmes. #FairerWestminster

@TfL is calling on any remaining Londoners who wish to use the ULEZ scrappage scheme to submit their applications ahead of its planned closure on 8 September. The scheme, which opened in January 2023, was expanded to cover all Londoners in the capital ahead of the launch of the London-wide ULEZ. It has been highly successful in supporting people to adapt to the world-leading clean air zone.
