@Zinger012 @StonyOil Anthony Mantha doesn’t play centre and have near the defensive responsibilities that Henrique does, Henrique has been far more productive over the last 3 seasons as well. Of course EDM pays a 1st to solidify their 3C position where WSH pays a 2nd for a middle 6 winger.

Henrique is a good player and a decent add. Going into the playoffs with Cody Ceci 3 years in a row is fucking unacceptable. Both can be true

@StonyOil Sean Walker is not a Top 4 defensemen on a Stanley Cup contender. Colorado just gave up a 1st round pick to have Walker play 13 minutes a night behind Makar and Manson while Edmonton gave up a 1st for a 3C who can play in all situations for them and is 53% in the faceoff dot.

Colorado 1st = cap dump & a Top4 Dman Edmonton 1st = 3rd liner & replacement level player

@StonyOil @Edmoil13 Broberg is a LD. He CAN play RHD but why play him on his off side just to get him minimal playing time? Makes 0 sense for his development. Again, check advanced stats and take a nice long look at Kulak-Desharnais as a pairing this season. Very underrated.

@StonyOil @Edmoil13 Broberg is 22 years old. There’s no rush to have him play 3rd pairing minutes over Kulak when he can be logging 23+ minutes a night in Bakersfield honing his game. Harley is progressing quicker than Broberg, everybody develops at a different rate.
