They really believe that the Constitution will restrain the power of those who hate America, its written constitution, and its people.
It is well past time to cease believing this. They do not care about our “norms,” our traditions, or our laws. They care only about attaining power and wielding it over us. To them the Constitution only places limits upon any who would oppose them.
It is a game of Monopoly where they make sure you dutifully follow the rules, collecting $200 only when you pass “go,” while they raid the bank every time you turn your head.
