Over half a billion for the UK's Covid inquiries and they only ever had guidance powers. It was the most expensive whitewash in UK history. It was clear to me from day one as a core participant that both the Scottish and the UK one were ever only going to be a complete whitewash, hence the reason why I walked away from both. Over half a billion to say that lessons have been learned once again. The only lesson learned was that they will do anything to cover their arses.

🚨 The Government has signed off £37.6 MILLION on lawyers for the Covid inquiry. And this sums up modern Britain perfectly. We have created an entire industry around endless inquiries, consultations, lawyers, reviews and bureaucracy. ❌ Years of meetings. ❌ Years of hearings. ❌ Years of paperwork. Millions and millions spent… …while the public already knows the basic conclusion: The government failed, the system failed, and almost nobody will be held properly accountable. Britain no longer solves problems. We just create enormous bureaucratic machines to talk about them for years at huge expense.

Did some airplane travel this week- the number of people back to wearing masks over hantavirus and Ebola is truly shocking. I feel sad for the people who live their lives in fear over over-hyped, extremely rare diseases. People, so fearful that they can't go out in public or travel without masks... I pity them, I worry for their mental health, I even worry for our country that has so many guillible people - but these poor fools are not my enemy.
