📊 Bangladesh’s minority crisis is no longer episodic — it is cumulative and escalating. Between 6 June 2025 and 5 January 2026, HRCBM documented 116 targeted killings of minority individuals. In December 2025 alone, we recorded 87 additional human rights violations spanning violence, dispossession, and criminalization. December 2025 — Divisional spread: • Chattogram: 18 | Dhaka: 17 | Khulna: 14 • Rajshahi: 9 | Sylhet: 9 | Barishal: 8 • Rangpur: 8 | Mymensingh: 4 December violations included: 🔴 24 murders 🔴 16 targeted robberies 🔴 10 land-grabbing cases 🔴 7 arson attacks 🔴 6 attacks on temples 🔴 False cases & blasphemy arrests Taken together, these figures reveal a continuum of persecution — where killings represent the lethal extreme, and daily violence, dispossession, and intimidation sustain fear and impunity. These are not isolated crimes. It reflects a systemic failure to protect minority communities. #Bangladesh #HumanRights #MinorityRights #StopImpunity #BreakingNews @UN @washingtonpost @nytimes #Hindus #SaveBangladeshiHindus

🚨 BREAKING | HUMAN RIGHTS ALERT 🚨 #Blasphemy has become a license to kill in #Bangladesh. On December 18, 2025, Dipu Chandra Das, a #Hindu garment-factory worker and the sole earner for his family, was dragged out of his workplace, lynched by a mob, and his body was set on fire following an unverified allegation of blasphemy. This was not an isolated “incident.” It is part of a systemic pattern of persecution. Read more at hrcbm.org/wp-new/blasphe… 📊 HRCBM has documented 78 blasphemy-related cases in 2025 alone, devastating thousands of minority families through killings, mob violence, false cases, displacement, and fear. What we are witnessing is not justice. It is mob vigilantism, extrajudicial execution, and the progressive erasure of minorities—enabled by impunity, delayed intervention, and failure to prosecute. When: allegations replace evidence, mobs replace courts, and violence replaces law, minority existence itself comes under threat.Silence does not preserve stability. Silence accelerates erasure. The world must take note—and act. #HumanRights #MinorityRights #Bangladesh #MobViolence #BlasphemyLaws #RuleOfLaw #Accountability #JusticeForDipu #HRCBM @UN @amnestyusa @hrw @nytimes #HindusUnderAttackInBangladesh #HindusButchered #Hindus #HumanRightsDay #HumanityFirst #Islam #USA #BreakingNews #NEWS #NewsUpdate #SouthAsia

🚨 HRCBM warns of a deepening human rights crisis in #Bangladesh. #Blasphemy allegations—often based on hacked @facebook accounts, doctored screenshots, or fabricated claims—are being weaponized to target minorities from minors to the elderly, triggering mob attacks, arbitrary arrests, and mass displacement. From Shalla to Rangpur, Khulna to Cumilla, our 2025 documentation shows a disturbing national pattern: 73 blasphemy-related incidents • 40 verified cases • 32 districts affected We also urge @facebook to strengthen protections for vulnerable users whose accounts are repeatedly exploited to fabricate accusations. These allegations are no longer isolated—they have become a systematic tool of intimidation, communal domination, and extortion. HRCBM calls on the Government of Bangladesh to: 🔹 Ensure cyber-forensic verification 🔹 Prosecute fabricated cases 🔹 Protect vulnerable communities 🔹 Compensate affected families 🔹 End impunity for mob violence Blasphemy must not be a weapon against Bangladesh’s minorities. 📄 Full report ➜ hrcbm.org/wp-new/blasphe… #Bangladesh #HumanRights #BlasphemyMisuse #MinorityRights #StopMobViolence #HRCBM

HRCBM is proud to share that our Regional Director for Europe, Ms. Jaya Rani Barman — one of our inspiring young leaders — delivered a powerful and moving address at the @UN #Minority #Rights Forum. Speaking before global delegates and human rights experts, she highlighted the decades-long persecution faced by Bangladesh’s religious and ethnic minorities: recurring violence, land dispossession, gender-based attacks, forced disappearances, and the systemic denial of justice. She urged the international community to stand with vulnerable communities and support HRCBM’s Transitional Justice Framework — a roadmap for truth, accountability, reparations, institutional reform, and long-term protection of Bangladesh’s minorities. Her presence at the UN reflects the strength of HRCBM’s global volunteer network and the shared commitment of all our leaders to justice, equality, and human dignity. We congratulate Jaya for representing the unheard with clarity and courage, and for advancing HRCBM’s mission on the world stage. Together, we stand for justice. Together, we defend the rights of Bangladesh’s minorities. Together, we strive for a future of dignity, security, and hope for all. @UNHumanRights @hrw @amnesty @USAmbBangladesh #Hindus #HumanRights #Bangladesh #BreakingNews

One year ago on Nov 25, 2024, the Bangladeshi government arrested its own citizen, simply for the “crime” of being Hindu and daring to ask for freedom of religion and security. For three hundred and sixty five long days now, one of the senior most monks in the country has been held on trumped up charges – including a murder that happened when Chinmoy Krishna Das was already in the police custody! Lawyers trying to represent Das have also faced threats and physical violence. The Bangladeshi media has mostly been browbeaten into silence. Western media and Human Rights Groups are silent–just like they have been through decades of genocide in the region. #SaveBangladeshiHindus @USAmbBangladesh @USembassyDhaka @ChiefAdviserGoB @RepShriThanedar @CongressmanRaja @CApress_sec @HRCBM @bhbcoporg @askbd_org @USCIRF @StateIRF @UNHumanRights @POTUS @JDVance @SecRubio @DNIGabbard @CanadaFP @GAC_Corporate

🔴 Urgent: Indigenous communities attacked in #Bangladesh 🔴 On Sept 27–28, Guimara & Khagrachari saw brutal assaults after protests demanding justice for the gang rape of a Marma minor girl. 📍 What happened: At least 5 confirmed Indigenous deaths (with unconfirmed reports of up to 7). Over 15 injured, many with gunshot wounds requiring urgent surgery. 5 persons missing, feared abducted or killed. More than 60 shops and 15 homes burned and looted, displacing entire families. Video and photographic evidence provided by community members shows Bangladesh Army personnel and Bengali settler groups allegedly involved in indiscriminate firing, arson, and assaults. 🔗 Full report here: hrcbm.org/wp-new/indigen… ⚠️ Why this matters: These atrocities are not isolated. They reflect a decades-long cycle of militarization, dispossession, and impunity in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. The Guimara–Khagrachari tragedy echoes earlier pogroms in Longadu and Logang — a reminder that Indigenous rights in Bangladesh remain under grave threat. 🙏 Our call to action: Stand in solidarity with Indigenous peoples of the CHT. Share this report widely to break the silence. Demand urgent accountability and protection for vulnerable communities. @USAmbBangladesh @UNHumanRights #HRCBM @cnnbrk @BBCBreaking @nytimes #HumanRightsViolation #Indigenouspeople #INDIGENOUS #BreakingNews #Bangladesh

⚠️ BREAKING: Over 18 attacks across 16 districts of #Bangladesh have targeted #Hindu communities preparing for Durga Puja. Durga idols were mutilated, temples and homes vandalized — an assault on both human dignity and cultural heritage. Durga Puja is not just a festival: in 2021 @UNESCO inscribed “Durga Puja” on its Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, recognizing it as a living tradition that unites art, ritual, and community identity. Yet a stark disparity persists: Blasphemy allegations — often stemming from hacked or manipulated social media posts — have led to swift arrests and prosecutions of minorities without credible digital forensic review. By contrast, when physical attacks occur on minority places of worship or desecration of idols, state accountability and effective prosecution are far less visible. This raises serious concerns under Bangladesh’s obligations to uphold freedom of religion, equality before law, and protection of cultural heritage under international human rights standards. Desecrating idols and attacking temples on the eve of a UNESCO-recognized festival is not only communal violence — it is a violation of cultural rights and an affront to humanity’s shared heritage. #ProtectCulturalHeritage #DurgaPuja #HumanRights #Bangladesh #StopCommunalViolence #ProtectCulturalHeritage #StopCommunalViolence #DurgaPuja #HumanRights #Bangladesh #unescoworldheritage #DurgaPuja2025 #DurgaPuja @UNHumanRights @USAmbBangladesh #savehindubangladesh

🚨 A Crisis of Humanity in #Bangladesh 🚨 HRCBM has filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) at the Bangladesh Supreme Court demanding a judicial enquiry into the wave of sexual violence targeting minority women and children. 📊 In just two months, 342 documented cases of rape and gang rape have surfaced. Rights monitors warn this is only the tip of the iceberg — the true number runs into thousands, hidden by silence, fear, and state inaction. 💔 The most harrowing truth: According to Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK), 87% of the victims are children — many as young as infants to six years old. This is no longer a human rights crisis. It is a crisis of the state. When governments bury official reports instead of delivering justice, silence becomes complicity. 🕊️ HRCBM calls for: Judicial enquiry into all cases of sexual violence Independent investigations under international oversight Protection for victims under Rome Statute, CEDAW, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child 👉 We appeal to the international community, the media, and all defenders of human rights: Stand with Bangladesh’s voiceless victims. Do not let infants and children be forgotten. hrcbm.org/wp-new/pil/pub… ✍️ Share. Speak. Act. #HRCBM #Bangladesh #JusticeForMinorities #HumanRightsViolation #HumanRights #BREAKING #BreakingNews #women @UN

From Rwanda to Bangladesh — The Warning Signs Are Here For over eight decades, Bangladesh’s minorities have faced prolonged, recurring, and ongoing persecution meeting the legal threshold of genocide. Killings. Sexual violence. Forced conversions. Cultural erasure. Land seizures. Generations displaced. Our latest paper draws alarming parallels between Rwanda’s ignored early warnings and the present reality in Bangladesh. Despite repeated alerts to the UN, ICC, and world capitals, the global response remains muted — echoing the same deadly indifference that cost 800,000 lives in Rwanda. 📄 Read & share: humanrightscongressforbanglade.box.com/s/hjtbsxltd2kr… The credibility of “Never Again” depends on action — not regret. #HumanRights #GenocidePrevention #Bangladesh #Rwanda #HRCBM #NeverAgain @UNICEF @UNESCO @USAmbUN @USStateDepartm2 @nytimes @UNHumanRights @Refugees @amnestyusa @StanfordLaw @guardian @USAmbBangladesh
