تعتبر الجولة الحالية من التصعيد الأمريكي ضد إيران هي الجولة الثانية منذ وصول ترمب للرئاسة، حيث تمثلت الجولة الأولى بحشد القطع الاستراتيجية في جزيرة دييغو غارسيا وما تزامن معها من تصريحات وتهديدات، وما تبعها من جولات تفاوضية. ثمّة ثلاثة سيناريوهات محتملة: - ضربة عسكرية واسعة للمشروع النووي الإيراني وبنية إيران التحتية بما يفتتح حرباً. - ضربة عسكرية محدودة بهدف إخضاع إيران تفاوضياً. - التلويح بالقوة دون استخدامها، إلا قدر يسير منها فقط، بغرض الإخضاع التفاوضي أيضاً. والأرجح، ألا يتجاوز الأمر التلويح بالقوة أو استخدام قدر يسير منها، بدون الوصول إلى احتمال الحرب، وذلك بغية وضع إيران تحت مطرقة الخضوع للشروط الأمريكية، وسندان تدمير بنيتها التحتية ومنشآتها النووية.

#Bahrain | On February 14, 2025—marking Bahrain’s "Day of Rage"—HuMENA released a report exposing Bahrain’s failure to implement UPR commitments and its continued crackdown on fundamental freedoms. Despite pledges to reform, authorities persist in suppressing civic space, silencing dissent, and avoiding accountability for human rights abuses. The report highlights ongoing violations, including arbitrary arrests, enforced disappearances, the criminalization of free expression, and the use of military courts against civilians. Bahrain’s engagement with the UPR has been largely performative, using diplomatic maneuvers to maintain its international standing while intensifying domestic repression. HuMENA urges the Bahraini government to end its persecution of activists, restore judicial independence, and fully implement its UPR obligations.
