I like the guy's stance. He may not be eloquent enough to express his thoughts as many would want, but I'm sure people with good understanding already know what he's saying. They were so fixated on what he's going to do for the woman, but nobody was asking the woman what she'd be doing for the man. And it's not like he said he wasn't going to take care of her but their inability to get those material things at will is what's causing the fuss.
