Strong leadership plays an important role in outbreak response as demonstrated by #NTOROKO District. The District taskforce sits twice a week to monitor implementaion of @MinofHealthUG directives on Ebola outbreak including Points of entry, closure of markets & SOPs for Schools.

Dr. @henrymwebesa1ug led the Ugandan delegation in a meeting with the @gavi CEO, Dr. @SaniaNishtar to discuss the country's current routine immunization program. GAVI is a key partner in strengthening Uganda's routine immunization services. The meeting took place on the sidelines of #WHA79 in Geneva, Switzerland. #MOHatWork | #FightEbolaUG26

"Uganda is currently responding to an #Ebola outbreak. However, we have overtime built a resilient system to deal with Public Health Emergencies.
