Updated Pnl -$278,697. RGC blew up my account. Est assets $5 mill, current market cap $3 bill. I don't know how they get away with it or why the SEC does nothing but pretty unbelievable. Never holding anything overnight and moving onto tomorrow ✌️ $RGC

@SmallCapSmarts @flash_research I generally dislike these since its an average, one outlier can skew it. Also they include very low gap% which are more likely to close green

I missed 2 covers on late day $TRNR, then I proceeded to size up short, got smacked, Shorted again, came all teh way down to 2.4, I took nothing I was break even there even bigger size and then i thought it was done, guess it wasnt, recovered all the way to 2.8s, longed. Smacked. Basically, I tilted, and gambled with bigger size than I had in the morniing trades, all of which I missed because I was trying to long $NVVE instead of sticking to shorting morning gappers. And as a result of the size, I took a 17k loss losing 5 times on $TRNR. I think I need to cap number of trades, cap size, end of day, and stop trying to buy break outs out of tilt because you covered your short (2.86 area) on these stocks cause it will wash you if you aren't early. Pretty brutal to see I was green with at 2.4s and I took nothing expecting a wash to 220s. I was pretty tempted to short it again like a retard but since I have done once again like on $MLGO, I tilted with size like an idiot at the end of the day when you should not be really trading end of the day unless there is a real parabolic. my acc is down to 11k lol. I am still not going to wire out. Get good or get going is my motto. In the morning I was playing such small size and by end of day I tilted trying to find some sort of big move instead of taking the profit given to me trnr had all kinds of support from 2 -3 days of poppin and droppin I didn't respect it. I keep expecting a death drop of some sort. I shoulda called it quits after the 2.4 test and drop on TRNR but I reshorted that bounce thinking its donezo and thats when I started washing mashining my gains away. and not played such large size tryna make it back. It is so hard to fight that mentality got a fkin problem lmfao.

Completed the two months of steady systematic trading. No interfering, no messing around. 100% focused on discipline and respecting size, entry and exit rules. Lived through the volatility. Drawdowns recovered. Account at all time high. Will go back to full size in March

What I’ve noticed is that the higher-level pure quant or discretionary traders are, the harder it is for them to understand the other side. To quants, discretionary traders look like degen gamblers, while to discretionary traders, quants seem like narrow minded data nerds. Funny how that works. Mid-level or hybrid traders don’t seem to have this problem.

And of course always transparent here as I finish the Month of February 2025 with a Brutal Blow Up: -$590K😩 This was the worst month since November 2021 which was a -$3M month😬 We all know about the 2 week bender that fucked up my month and entire year but all good as the month ended strong and there's still 10 months left. I'm confident I will recover that and much more. #HAGW all 👋💪

@Kinfo You could recycle a losing position while keeping 1 share open indefinitely. This will allow someone to trade the same ticker multiple times without ever closing the position until they are green.

@daytradingzoo If I understand you correctly, you're saying that a real edge should work in all market conditions?

If cycles don't exist anymore then that's one less parameter and worry. So you can just keep taking every single setup that fits your system and milk that long term +EV. If that doesn't work then your system isn't good enough.
