@HUW008 @AndrewRTDavies Just call me Nostradamus,Huw. There will be compromise, pare back, unfulfilled or broken promises. People like yourself will be saying its a "pragmatic approach" for a minority government. Then there's the blame game,it's Westminster's fault, the opposition. ifs.org.uk/articles/new-w…

Change is not difficult, contrary to Plaid Cymru separatists’ claims. If the will is there, there’s no reason the implementation of reforms can’t begin immediately. The separatists must start fulfilling their promises to Welsh farmers now.

When Nigel told me about this policy, my immediate reaction was this is brilliant for the grafters, the great men & women who do extra hours to make sure they put good food on the table and their kids grow up with a real chance in life. We are on your side. Vote @reformparty_uk in Makerfield & we get this Gov out & get the country working again. 👇🏽
Zia Yusuf@ZiaYusufUK

🚨Important policy announcement: Britain was built on the hard graft of people who go the extra mile. A Reform government will ABOLISH income tax on hours worked beyond 40 hours a week, for incomes below £75,000 a year. It’s time to REWARD hard work, not punish it! 🇬🇧

Don’t forget the rules! 🤔 Tourist tax in Wales = anti-English and racist. Tourist tax in England = normal. Funny how quickly the outrage from the right and far right disappears when England does exactly the same thing. 🙄

@Cai_ParryJones He's just copying Trump's playbook again. The US literally passed this exact "no tax on overtime" policy last year under the "One Big Beautiful Bill." It's just a direct copy-paste job of US populist policy tailored for a UK headline

An excellent policy that demonstrates how Reform backs hard working families across Wales and the rest of the UK. Here in Wales, Reform has also costed a 1p cut off every band of income tax, because we are absolutely committed to making work pay.
The Telegraph@Telegraph

Nigel Farage has pledged to axe income tax on overtime as he vows to “make work pay”. If Reform UK wins the next general election, people who earn less than £75,000 and work overtime above a 40-hour week will pay no income tax on the extra hours. 🔗: telegraph.co.uk/politics/2026/…

@HUW008 @AndrewRTDavies There's been 3 interviews,NHS, farming and childcare. All pushing for time, the fully costed plan for childcare, isn't in place, and are going the consult the industry. 3 mouths to bring down waiting times, has become an aim. Highlighting Public waste, Plaid's trans position?

@AndrewB5sully @AndrewRTDavies And which of that has happened? Which promise has now become an aim, what timeline has been extended by years, which action has only led to consultation? Level up scrutiny?… there’s stickers on hand hand driers, they gave me 2 laptops, there’s tampons in the toilet…🙄👌

@HUW008 @AndrewRTDavies There's a few on the separatist side pointing out that scrutiny in this parliamentary will be taken up a notch. Lashing out at the messenger, may give you small comfort. Backpeddling comes in different forms, promises become aims, months become years, and action becomes consult.

The First Minister has been banging on about the UK government “respecting the devolution settlement”. He is not respecting it himself. Foreign affairs are a reserved matter. Does this now mean that he is happy for the UK government to meddle in devolved matters? Hypocrite.

@HUW008 @AndrewRTDavies It's the rhetoric of those in power, Huw. That we're focusing on. Hard to agure that the rhetoric of the election hasn't been pushed into the long grass. Early days, with negotiations coming. However, there's back peddling going on, expectations not forthcoming.

@AndrewRTDavies Most modern governments and devolved administrations engage in some form of international promotion for economic, cultural, educational, and tourism reasons, thank ffwc you’re not the first minister!

You better believe it... 1. IN the 1400s, a law was set forth in England that a man was allowed to beat his wife with a stick no thicker than his thumb, hence we have 'The rule of thumb'. 2. Many years ago, in Scotland, a new game was invented. It was ruled 'Gentlemen Only, Ladies Forbidden', and thus the word GOLF entered the English language. 3 Each King in a deck of playing cards, represents a great 'King' in history; Spades - King David Hearts, Charlemagne Clubs, Alexander the Great Diamonds, Julius Caesar 4. In Shakespeare's time, mattresses were secured on bedframes by ropes. When you pulled on the ropes the mattress support tightened, making the bed firmer to sleep on, hence, the phrase 'Goodnight, sleep tight'. 5. It was accepted practice in Babylon 4000 years ago that for a month after the wedding, the bride's father would supply his son in law with all the mead he could drink. Mead is a honey beer, and because their calendar was lunar based, this period was called the 'Honey month', which we know of today as the 'Honeymoon'. 6. Since 1966, English fans have said they are going to win the cup at the start of every football competition, hence the phrase, 'Deluded twats'.
