@JacotheNorth I read your post yesterday. With Rayner being cleared today, made me think about it more. It's been nicknamed a two teir system here. x.com/i/status/20542…
Rob Roos 🇳🇱@Rob_Roos

This is no coincidence. With France’s presidential election just a year away and @J_Bardella leading in the polls, the establishment has once again weaponized the judicial system to sideline its political opponents. First they targeted Marine Le Pen. Now they’re coming for the next threat. Will the @EU_Commission step in over this clear breach of the rule of law? Of course not, they’re part of the same establishment club. ‘We The People’ have to stand up and defend our freedom, our democracy. It’s not only our right, it’s our duty!

Around the Western world there are very unpopular 'leaders' clinging onto power. And silencing opponents, or else prosecuting them on phoney charges so they can't stand for election. Exactly the same playbook used in the USA against Trump, when Biden was dozing in the Oval Office and people most Americans had never heard of were really running things. Starmer is a disciple of the eugenicist Fabians and (naturally) wants to rejoin the EU. The EU is modelled on the Soviet Union; a powerless parliament with decisions made by an all-powerful, and unelected, Commission. And guess who controls that Commission? It's a circle, designed to transfer wealth, impose controls on the people, and pretend it's all being done for our benefit, and to defend democracy. So if you still think the threats to democracy are insurgent parties, the 'far-right', and Elon Musk owning X, then you've fallen for the biggest scam in history.

A fantastic contribution from our SNP Westminster Group Leader @DaveDooganSNP pointing out the hypocrisy of some on the Labour benches when it comes to referendums. 👇🏻

@MillennialWoes That is a white woman who has spent far too much time among blacks. Her “unexpected accent” is just a white woman who has picked up a black manner of speech. Yes we do understand class. This is what we call trailer park trash.

A day after Farage sends me a “legal letter” over his finances, the Parliamentary Standards Committee decides to investigate his finances. I am not surprised!

@Ithaca37fanboy @BIG_PARMENIDES @DocStrangelove2 @lordofmanytacos The breech of a barrel blew out on me after heavy use. 29 Palms, live firing exercise. May have been about around 600rds. It was a good way of not cleaning the thing, and returning to the armorer, the yanks are keen on weapons being clean when returned. GPMG much better.

@BIG_PARMENIDES @DocStrangelove2 @lordofmanytacos Depends which model of M60. The originals were good for 600-1600 rounds depending how hard you were on it. Thats continuous full auto. Newer versions can go 1200-3000 rounds before serious issue in continuous full auto. Its why they have interchangeable barrels.

@ifanmj Stopping Reform? You may have noticed others parties have taken that ticket. As for ducks, everyone Labour puts up, it's quickly shot down.

Unpopular opinion but I think that paradoxically Plaid Cymru may have given Labour a blueprint for winning the next General Election, if they can get their ducks in a row.

@UT_County @PlaidExposed Same tbh My preference anyway was Paul Davies for Presiding Officer, but Huw Irranca-Davies is equally capable and really it could've been those 2 in both roles without really impacting seat mathematics Reform prevented that from happening though, so they can't blame anyone else

@chris52brooks @DeansOfCardiff They can't see it. Their leader was on the telly yesterday babbling on about a co-operative spirit, and the first thing Plaid do is chance their arm at gaining an advantage.

@CrisCardotyn @ifanmj Why. Because the roles need to be split between government/opposition representation. From what I'm following, it needs to be a super majority to change these rules. However i have seen that there may be a technicality for them. But hard to say it doesn't give Plaid an advantage.

@AndrewB5sully @ifanmj Why would PC put in a nomination for speaker. Elin has carried out that role for last what 10yrs. As the largest party why would they reduce their numbers further? Should be Labour or Tories in those posts.

NEW Victory for No10 as Catherine West says she may abandon her leadership bid entirely today. Tells me: “If it’s an amazing speech, then I will think twice about asking the Parliamentary Labour Party for their support.” She wants a focus on “working people”.
