I legitimately empathise with parents who have newborns, but you cannot ask 200 other people on a confined tin can in the sky, sometimes travelling for hours breathing recirculated hot air, to put up with a screaming, crying infant. You should not be allowed to bring infants on airplanes. Period.

🚨BREAKING: Video of a young couple with a baby being kicked off an Allegiant Air flight is going viral. Young couple on a delayed flight tried to keep their baby girl cool after she became overheated by lightly dressing her down. She was crying a lot, and her mother was trying not to bother other passengers. While most understood the stressful situation, a flight attendant falsely claimed the baby had a fever and even asked for a birth certificate, using it as an excuse to remove the family, adding unnecessary fear and stress to an already difficult moment.

Braves manager Walt Weiss says that starting pitcher Chris Sale was as sick as a dog today, and that it was "touch and go" before the game. Sale pitched 6 innings, gave up 1 hit, 1 earned run, didn't walk anybody and struck out 3. Not bad for a sick guy.

Cash for Clunkers destroyed $2.4 billion in working capital in 2009. The government paid dealers to pour sodium silicate into 690,000 perfectly functioning engines -- rendering them permanently inoperable. These weren't junkyard cars. The program required trade-ins to be drivable and insured. You had working vehicles that poor families desperately needed, and bureaucrats systematically destroyed them to boost GM sales (while GM was under government ownership, naturally). The environmental impact? Pure theater. Most clunkers got 18+ mpg -- hardly gas guzzlers. Meanwhile, building new cars generates 25 tons of CO2 per vehicle before they leave the factory. The program likely increased net emissions while making transportation less affordable for everyone earning under $50k.
