Kent has already shown he isn’t scared of trading 1st and 2nds to improve at weak spots when he picked up Dobson and Danault.

@sasksportsguy85 @brendanshowbiz You don’t need to keep rebuilding for bottom 6 players, they’re easy to trade for and sign. Panthers, Avalanche, Vegas, all did that once they had their core set (which the Habs do)

This is exactly the problem. Every time Matheson makes a costly mistake, the media rushes to protect him instead of calling it what it is. The “but the minutes” argument doesn’t excuse repeated errors that directly lead to goals.
