@LBC @lewis_goodall Government takes away wealth before a person is paid for earning it (Income Tax & NIC). Government takes away wealth when a person spends it (VAT, Stamp Duty). If there is one thing Government does not deserve more of, it is a persons hard-earned wealth.

Great to see the Conservatives under Kemi committing to housebuilding 🏡 There is no truer expression of aspirational conservative values than to own your home. From national and SME builders, to homeowners, everyone has a role to play in delivering the new homes the UK needs.

Those remaining landlords will increase rents before a cap is introduced. Those on low and median incomes are priced out = Rent controls favour the wealthy 🙃.
