Don’t let people use you twice times. In 2024 when I was robbed, I tried to reach out to a few friends of mine. There’s this particular one that I helped so much in settling “NEPA” issues without asking for anything. I was always coming to his rescue to the point I had his apartment metered under the free metering scheme. Because we always communicated on my official line, it was easy to reach out to him, told him about my ordeal and requested for him to give me the number of a mutual so I could reach out, I needed help with investigation and all and I knew our mutual will help out.

Final day of the EPL, I walked into the den of the enemy to see them lift the Trophy in 22 years. They blew their horns in mockery and booed their mouths in spite for Chelsea FC. I was stoic, unmoved and unscathed. Chelsea Presido for a reason!😎💙 Congratulations, Red foes!

My cousin was a bad boy when he was younger. He was so bad that he impregnated a lot of girls at his teenage age and anytime these girls came to the family to cry about what had happened, he will completely deny paternity. Unfortunately, It was his words against theirs because there was nothing like DNA test then. This went on for a while until he fell in love or so we thought. He impregnated this girl as usual and we were all happy that he took responsibility for this one and she gave birth for him. We were hoping he will go and see her parents but he didn’t. However, they were cohabiting as husband and wife. Everyone who sees them will think they are married not knowing he had not paid a kobo on her head. She gave birth again and again until they had five kids together. After living together for over 10 years, he travelled to the USA alone in search of greener pastures because he wasn’t really doing well here but the plan was to bring her and the family over when he had legalized his stay. Unfortunately, after he got there, he realized it wasn’t that easy to legalize his stay, so he cut her off and married someone over there to secure his papers and they started a new life together. He never looked back.

Men who stay abroad and then come back to get married, only to leave the woman in Nigeria for years without returning, have never made sense to me. Why not just marry a woman in the country you are living in and build your family there? Do these men genuinely expect these women to stay faithful for all those years? Again, what exactly is the benefit to the man? You don’t even get to enjoy any real benefits of marriage with your wife. I know someone who came back in 2023 to marry a girl, relocated and opened a shop for her in Ibadan, and since then he hasn’t returned to Nigeria again. It’s not even like he got her pregnant, which is what many of them usually do before leaving. I also don’t understand women who agree to this kind of arrangement, where you practically become sex and attention-starved for years. Any new marriage where the couple have barely bonded and then spend more than two years apart without seeing each other is already at serious risk. If you live abroad, marry a woman there. If you must marry in Nigeria, then make sure that within one year of the marriage, you bring her over to stay with you. Leaving your young wife in Nigeria for years without coming back is extremely risky and naturally makes her more prone to infidelity, unless you simply don’t care about that aspect. I have even read cases where the man eventually returns after many years and starts demanding that the woman swear oaths that no man touched her throughout the entire period before the marriage can continue. That arrangement honestly does not make sense to me.

One of the biggest regrets in my career was not playing for the Super Eagles because playing for the Eagles would have made my family proud especially my father. Back when I was in Sweden with Kalmar FF I had talks about playing but I didn't know the right people to talk to. So I moved to Red Star Belgrade and the interest to play for Sweden grow stronger since I just got my Swedish citizenship and Ibrahimović was the main man then. I bought the idea of playing for Sweden and I thought why not but I said to myself playing for Super eagles will help me more and it's could last longer than playing for Sweden. I got injured on my first chance to play in a friendly match and after that there were some times the conditions giving to me didn't sit well with me since I knew how my career path should be and I just got my Swedish citizenship so I didn't need any national team games to play in some certain leagues. My agent called and spoke with some of the people in working in the NFF but the feedback was not encouraging to him or to me so we both said no. I was still getting the same interest when I was at Vitesse Arnhem and hearts football club but it was still the same thing so I said since I don't need national games to make some moves why bothered. The regret was that I knew what it will mean to my father and the people from AYC where i grew up.

This is how I missed the chance to play for the super eagles, ONE OF THE SADDEST DAY IN MY CAREER APRIL 5th 2014. Game week 21 in the Serbian super league match away to Spatark Subotica in a must win game for the title. 2 weeks before my agent had a chat with the Super Eagles at that time Steven keshi May his soul rest in peace and it was all set and done that I will be called up for a friendly match at Craven Cottage. I was having the best season with Red Star Belgrade with 11 goals scored in 20games and the league title was in our hands with 9 games left to play. 60mins of the game my dream of playing for Super eagles was shattered when i injured my knee after stepping on the ball wrongly trying to stop a counter attack. I was devastated by the incident and I went into depression for like 3months and I was so angry that I messed up my rehab for missing out on this big opportunity. I cried for days I lost weight I started partying in stead of doing rehab At this point I thought about quitting football because I didn't know how bad or how long would a total rapture of my MCL, meniscus tear and grade 1 ACL tear is. But then I remembered the reason why I wanted to play football in the first place and that was the therapy that helped me get a move to Vitesse Arnhem. In life you will always have setbacks but it's up to you to make sure that you come out stronger

PalmPay currently offers about 15.12% YTD returns. Now imagine this: You start saving N50,000 monthly from age 30, the same year you got married. You stay consistent till retirement age at 65. That’s 35 years of saving. Simple breakdown: - N50k monthly - N600k yearly - N21 million total money personally saved in 35 years But here’s where compound interest becomes powerful. Assuming the 15.12% annual return remains consistent over the years, your money could grow to roughly: N759 MILLION by age 65. You don’t have to be rich or win a lottery. Just consistency mixed with time and let the compound growth take effect. Most people underestimate what small monthly discipline can become over decades.

I think the REPUBLIC OF IRELAND where the capital city is Dublin - have the best and fastest immigration pathway from Permanent Resident to citizenship. Walk with me. After arriving on a student visa, completing your one-year Master's degree, and obtaining a two-year postgraduate permit (Stamp 1G), you can then secure a job under the Critical Skills PERMIT (Stamp 4), which leads to permanent residency after two years of employment and after that , You are eligible to NATURALIZE and apply for CITIZENSHIP. Note: With an Irish passport, you are eligible to work in all 29 Schengen and EU countries, the United Kingdom, and Ireland itself without requiring a working AUTHORIZATION. The passport ranks among the top 3 globally and allows visa-free access to approximately 187 countries and for me, Getting IRISH passport is one IF not the Best. Best wishes!

People that moved to Canada in 2022 already having their citizenship is crazy, those of us that came to the UK the same year don’t even have a pathway to settlement yet

YOU ARE NOT BEHIND.🔥 Stop measuring your life against someone else’s highlight reel. The person you’re comparing yourself to has battles you know nothing about. Scars you can’t see. Nights you weren’t there for. You are not behind. You are not too late. You are not too broken. Some of the greatest comebacks in history started at the point where everything looked finished. The problem isn’t your situation. The problem is you’ve been listening to the wrong voice. That voice that says you missed your chance. That voice that says you’re not smart enough, not connected enough, not ready enough Silence it. Your worth was never attached to your wins. Your value was never determined by your speed. Some seeds take longer to grow and still produce the greatest fruit. Stop apologizing for where you are. Start owning who you’re becoming. The right people will find you. The right doors will open for you. The right season is coming for you. But you have to stop shrinking yourself to fit into spaces that were never designed for you. You were built for more. Act like it. Good morning and do have a great week. 🙏🏾

Ah I’m sorry, I need to update this list on beautiful things that happened today. Bruno broke the assist record. Iraola went 18 matches unbeaten in the premier league with Bournemouth and took them to Europe. Today was his final game. Glasner coached Palace for the last time in the league after winning their first trophy last season, and he’s taken them to an European final. Salah and Robertson played their last game for Liverpool. West Ham got relegated after 14 years. Tottenham will remain in the premier league What did I miss this time again?

Incredible scenes in football today. Crystal Palace giving Arsenal a guard of honor Arsenal lift the premier league after 22 years Unai Emery presented a gift to Pep pre game. Villa players gave a guard of honor to both Bernardo and John Stones mid game, even the ref joined in clapping. Pep invited Gundogan and Ederson to join in his sending off as they were not properly sent off. Man City name the newly-opened North stand the Pep Guardiola stand. Add yours

Sports betting mad gaan During my days as a cashier, I saw things One faithful day, a guy was waiting for me at the shop. When I arrived, he just started ranting that why am I coming late, do I know how much he would have won if I had come early? He assisted me in carrying the Generator outside. Long story short, he started playing and won about 100k in less than an hour…. Bro was hyped up, then the losses came. Bro later did a transfer of over 200k back to me… dropped his Android phone as collateral, cos money don finish. That was when he calmed down. The person pressuring me in the morning now became the most gentle person in the shop. He later became the oracle for other customers, predicting games for them… Guess what, most of the people he predicted for were winning 😂

I was introduced to sports betting during NYSC. I occasionally bet ₦100/₦200 and once won ₦365k, which helped me buy a phone and laptop. Deleted every betting app once I got my first job. I knew how destructive gambling habits can become.
