We see in the explanation of atahawiyyah by Ahmad Musa Jibrīl the Khāriji where he says that from the clear cut kufri statements is negating flesh and blood for Allāh ﷻ, then we see in Minhaj asunnah by Shaykh al-Islam where he negates these characteristics from Allāh ﷻ . Is AMJ going to be consistent and say Shaykh al-Islam was upon kufr?

Filthy man Our righteous Salaf said: “Irjā’ is a religion loved by kings.” Know that among their most prominent signs, meaning the Murji’ah, is loyalty to the Tawaghit, hatred for the downfall of their rule, striving to subdue people to them and domesticate them for their sake, and deceiving people into thinking that the rule of the Taghut is better than chaos and Fitnas, as if there were no alternative except this or tha!! As if security, safety, and peaceful living can only exist under the rule of Tawaghit and the Sharia of Jahiliyyah!! Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah described them with similar words in a lengthy discussion on this serious matter, until he said: “The Murji’ah and those like them are among those who follow a path of absolute obedience to rulers, even if they are not righteous.” (Majmū‘ al-Fatāwā, 28/508) For this reason, Imām Aḥmad said about people like them: “A filthy man.” Mihna said: I asked Imām Aḥmad ibn Ḥanbal about Ibrāhīm ibn al-Harawī, and he said: “A filthy man.” I said: What do you mean by ‘filthy’? He said: “Whoever follows the rulers and judges is filthy.” (al-Ādāb al-Shar‘iyyah by Ibn Mufliḥ) Ibn Kathīr reported from al-Naḍr ibn Shumayl that al-Ma’mūn asked him: “What is Irjā’?” He replied: “A religion that agrees with kings, they gain from it their worldly matters, and lose from it their religion.” (al-Bidāyah wa al-Nihāyah, 14/221) And Raqabah ibn Maṣqalah, one of al-Bukhārī’s narrators, used to say: “As for the Murji’ah, they are upon the religion of kings.” (al-Ibānah al-Ṣughrā by Ibn Baṭṭah, p.163) So how many filthy ones there are today, may Allah not increase their number, and may He disgrace them. Shaykh Saadiq Al Hashimi (may Allah protect him)

A sign of success in Dawah, is having enemies.
