East 14 Street near Union Square, once a bustling cross street full of shops and traffic of all types, has been reduced to an ugly, barren wasteland full of vacant retail and national restaurant chains.
The Meatpacking District, which fed the city for DECADES, has become a gilded hub for luxury shopping and tourism along the West Side Highway, made worse by all the tables, chairs and bullshit they put along 14 Street.
A $9 fuck-you tax is demanded of drivers to enter an economic apartheid zone they call "congestion pricing", allegedly to pay for a crumbling subway system that has NOT recovered from the lows of the Plandemic, while bike lanes, planter pots, boulders and "street trees" have NYC's streets and avenues resembling a spoiled child's dirty room, creating EVEN MORE congestion to be priced.
We're talking about a class of people who turned formerly middle-class and affluent Black neighborhoods like Fort Greene and even Prospect Heights into playgrounds of white children with daddy issues; who voted for Zohran Mamdani because he had the affect of a smiling brown genie who would work harder to assuage their guilt than their mean old racist parents in Ohio or some shit.
The combination of the "music of the slums" and fresh, salty breezes are what you'd get at a Sandals resort, ON the island of Jamaica. But here's the major difference between the Sandals resort, and New York City.
Because the white liberal is the most racist human being on earth (Malcolm X called that one YEARS ago), they would be OFFENDED by the absence of the slums. Much like they are offended by the lack of decline in places like the aforementioned Brooklyn Bridge Park and elsewhere.
New York City is a fucking amusement park to the white liberal transplant.
A place where the natives can be ignored and avoided whilst enjoying the "grit"of their neighborhoods; a place to mark off on the "10 Places to Live Before You Die" listicles you'd see in BuzzFeed, right before they have a nasty break-up and go back home to Mommy and Daddy in a tearful, BPD-addled heap.
Well, that was until the aforementioned brown genie Zohran came along, because now those same native New Yorkers are now openly antagonized and oppressed BY the transplants.
What other explanation could there be when cops, firefighters and Transit workers will be the ones to catch the brunt of tickets issued when they lower the speed limits to 15mph in school zones?
What other reason could be the case, when New York natives who have lived in their homes for DECADES and wish to pass them on to their descendants are hit with a NINETY PERCENT LOWER estate tax threshold ($750K from $7 MILLION); and if they'd rather put the home on the open market, must give the State FIRST RIGHT OF REFUSAL on which affiliated nonprofit they sell their house to?
What other reason could be the case when all these "Hundred Flowers" sessions Zohran and his fellow Communist degenerates set up for tenants to denounce their landlords, somehow DON'T happen with NYCHA properties?
Expand the property portfolio of the State, whilst IGNORING the pre-existing tenants OF the State??
New York City is in SERIOUS trouble.
