I don't believe Andrew, formally known as Prince, is guilty of having underage sex or of abusing VG. If he was a nonce there would be other girls involved but there aren't I believe the only thing he's guilty of is being extremely naive I'm not even a big fan of his but I believe in fairness

@_HenryBolton I think you’ll find yourself in the minority with that opinion. He’s done much more than show bad judgement. He and Sarah were bff’s with Epstein for ages, there’s sketchy money stories about. I think we’ve only heard the tip of the iceberg.

Prince Andrew showed extremely bad judgement. It’s a mistake he’ll pay for, for the rest of his days. To remove the title of Prince is, I think going too far. By all means remove his other titles, but this weakens not strengthens the Monarchy. It sets a precedent that undermines the institution. It’s unwise, unnecessary and unfair. My opinion.

Bizarrely, it would appear from the Buckingham Palace statement that Prince Andrew remains eighth in line to the throne and a Counsellor of State. So, legally he could still stand in for King Charles, if necessary

This is a great essay. ‘Windsorism’ goes hand-in-hand with a country in decline, a listless political class, and no collective vision of the future. I don’t think it’s even necessarily left-wing to arrive at that conclusion.
