Snap take from me on the inquiry recommendations response. Somehow both lightweight and overwhelmingly complex. Failure to take testing and certification into the public realm is a major miss:

🗣️ 'It's a carousel of delay.' Grenfell survivors waited seven years for a public inquiry to complete its work, and today they heard it could take another three to four years for its recommendations to take effect - with no guarantees those will even be implemented "in full".

The "Healthy Homes" @APPGHHB who boast of their efforts for safe housing has finally done the right thing and ended their sponsorship with @saintgobain - the parent company of @Celotex under investigation for their role in the fire.

92 months since our 72 loved ones were killed at Grenfell, 18 of them children. 92 months, still no justice. We await the Government’s response to the Phase 2 Recommendations. Every single one must be implemented as a legacy to those who died and to prevent another Grenfell.

Today marks 91 months since 72 loved ones were taken from us at Grenfell. We still have no clear road to Justice, and no adequate health monitoring to ensure all bereaved and survivors get to see it if it comes. Will we see any improvements before the 8 year anniversary?

The silent walk this evening, remembering the 72 people who lost their lives in the Grenfell Tower fire. More than seven years later their families, friends and the local community are still waiting for justice.
