Always an honor to emcee the annual June Lee Banquet to raise money and awareness for an important organization, @HamiltonMadison in the Lower East Side. It’s been serving the community since 1898. Thank you @janccrc for all that you do! @ABC7NY was once again a proud sponsor.
Hamilton-Madison House’s Childcare and Family Support Center at NYCHA Smith Houses has been closed since Hurricane Sandy. After 12 years, I was proud to be able to secure the funds they need for repairs to resume serving the LES again.
We urge @NYCCouncil to invest in mental healthcare models like Roundtable's that has connected 13k+ Asian NYers to culturally & linguistically appropriate care. Thank you @CMLindaLee, @Lynn4NYC, @CMMercedesCD46 & @JustinBrannan for the opportunity to testify on this issue.
Earlier this week, volunteers from our Aging Connect team and @Aetna went to the @HamiltonMadison Older Adult Center in Manhattan to paint a new mural, creating a bright new room for its members. 💡 #JoinUs #NYC #Service
