A Morrisons store manager says his life has been completely 'devastated' after he was sacked for confronting a repeated shoplifter. Sean Egan - who had worked in the Aldridge Morrisons in the West Midlands for 29 years - was escorting the shoplifter out of the store when the thief turned aggressive.

@TheGriftReport @MrsFlowers007 When he spat at Daniel it became a case of assault and was no longer shoplifting. He hid the right thing in trying to detain him for assault. His bosses should back him.

@NJSimmondsbooks Twenty years ago I’d say you were wrong but now I’d say you’re spot on. You cannot save quicker than inflation so yes, go and live. Eventually your wages will exceed your living expenses and you can save faster than inflation at that point. Until then experience life.

Right. Stepdaughter just told me the youngest grandson's girlfriend (20) who's been living at home for 2 years and working just 30 hours a week in M&S for 2 years has saved £15,000. She's not been paying her dad 'keep'. Sigh. Nice deposit for a flat you may think. But no. Going off travelling to Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia and chucking her job in. 🙄 But the good news is....🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁 youngest grandson has dumped her. 🤣

It’s psychologically horrible to have such a debt. But it doesn’t matter. She’ll never pay off her loan. She’ll pay extra 9% income tax above Plan 2 threshold, £29,385 from April, which will mean less disposable income, but after 30 years, however massive, debt will disappear.
